Digital Legacy
An increasing part of your life takes place online. You might not want to think about it, but have you ever considered what happens to all your digital data when you pass away? Would you like your photos to remain accessible to your loved ones? Would you prefer that no one else sees your WhatsApp history? Do you want to have your Facebook page converted into a memorial page? Just as with wishes regarding the bequest of your belongings and savings, it is important to think in advance about your wishes concerning your digital accounts.
If you do not know where to start, the ‘Digital Will coaching session’ offers a solution. It consists of a 1 hour session (online via Teams) during which you will learn what a digital legacy entails and how to arrange it properly. In addition, we will work together to complete your digital will. You will receive a template that you can complete during the session. At the end of the session, you will have taken care of your digital legacy. Furthermore, you will know what to do to keep it up-to-date.

Just as with wishes regarding the bequest of your belongings and savings, it is important to think in advance about your wishes concerning your digital accounts. Legislation on this matter is currently non-existent.
The Digital Legacy elearning is currently only available in Dutch, but if you would like to prepare your Digital Will in English, personal coaching is available (online via Teams). In a session of 1 hour, we will work 1-on-1 to teach you the most important legal and practical aspects relating to digital legacy and to prepare your digital will. It goes without saying that you do not need to share any confidential information with me.
Afterwards
- you will understand what is involved in organizing your digital legacy;
- you will have a handy estate plan in which your digital wishes are recorded;
- do you have a clear idea of what you can do to protect your login credentials and digital assets;
- do you know what you can do to reduce your digital footprint.
Practical information:
The 1-on-1 coaching session is provided by Marianne Winter, Senior Professional Organizer, MRPO® specialized in Digital Organizing, owner of The Organizing Company®, past president of the Dutch Association of Professional Organizers (NBPO) and partner of Digital Life Legacy.
A 1-on-1 session of 1 hour costs EUR 97 per person (including VAT). Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a link to schedule your session.
